Balancing a fulfilling career with family life, Courtney is a devoted mother and wife. Alongside her husband and children, she embraces the joys of family life, often spending weekends exploring the great outdoors, hiking, or simply enjoying nature together.

Colton Arkhangel began his nursing career in 2011, where he developed a passion for addiction and mental health nursing. Over the years he has worked as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager, and Nurse Clinician in Provincial, Territorial and Federal Correctional facilities, substance use detoxification & treatment centers, pediatric emergency mental health, community harm reduction & housing first programs, rural/arctic outpost healthcare settings. He has also taught nursing at the University of Calgary and Red Deer Polytechnic. Colton advanced his Nursing Education by achieving a Master of Nursing from the University of Calgary in 2017, specializing in Nursing Education and publishing a guide for enhancing discussion-based learning in the post-secondary environment. Colton has volunteered internationally promoting mental health, immunization, sports, and human rights in Africa, Central Asia, and South America. He is an avid hockey player, dog owner, traveler, and floral designer. Colton is the proud parent of a Mental Health Service Dog named “Charlotte”, and is passionate about role of animals in mental health and addiction recovery. Colton has a specific interest in further studying and enhancing mental health & wellness within the trades, remote work camps, and aviation industries.

Colton founded Arkhangel Addiction & Mental Health Services to provide a high quality alternative mental health nursing service for individuals & families wishing to access services not available through the public mental health system. And for those who are seeking assistance in navigating and accessing privately funded mental health & addiction services. The current level of pressure on the public mental health system has resulted in long waitlists and reduced quantity and quality of services. Arkhangel Addiction & Mental Health Services strives to provide individuals and families with solutions to fill service gaps and succeed in their recovery and live to their full potential.

Arkhangel Addiction & Mental Health Services also provides professional workplace mental health consultation services for employers seeking assistance in managing an employee experiencing mental health or substance use concerns in the workplace, and professional development services for employers wishing to create a workplace environment conducive to enhancing worker mental wellness.

Daniel Witt has a diverse educational, occupational, and experiential history. Unlike most people, Daniel has pursued multiple career paths concurrently in his lifetime, resulting in an impressive, diverse, and distinctive resume. A Northerner for life, Daniel has worked as a Primary School Teacher, a Correctional Peace Officer, a Counsellor/ Mental Health Therapist with the Forensic Complex Care Team serving both incarcerated and community based clients requiring metal health services in Yukon. He also owns and operates a Company specializing in exterior home renovations & improvements, is a dedicated Father & Husband, and is an avid and successful fisherman & outdoorsman. Daniel is passionate about helping people, especially men in the trades, construction industries, people struggling with addiction, and people who are seeking an alternative to traditional services which may not be meeting their needs.

Kimiko Kabayama is a Nursing Attendant, Disability Support Specialist, & Medical Office Assistant (MOA) for Arkhangel Addictions & Mental Health Services. Kimiko comes to us bearing multiple impressive certifications, including her Medical Office Assistant Certificate, Unit Clerk Certificate, and multiple First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, and Addictions Emergency Response certifications. She is also currently enrolled as a Nursing Student in the Practical Nurse (LPN) Program at Red Deer Polytechnic. Kimiko works under the supervision and delegation of a fully licensed Arkhangel Addictions & Mental Health Services LPN, RN or RPN, however we look forward to her graduation where she will be able to extend her scope of services to full scope nursing,
