CRA Disability Tax Credit (DTC) Advocacy and Application Preparation Service
The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Disability Tax Credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax deduction for those who suffer from one or more chronic illnesses (disabilities), whether physical, mental, or a combination of both. The DTC is not an income replacement or long term disability social assistance program - rather it reduces the amount of income tax qualified individuals pay to assist with the increased cost burden of living with a disability. This benefit is not related to whether or not you are able to work, your income level, or whether you are currently receiving disability benefits through a social assistance or LTD program. This Tax Credit is also available for those who require life sustaining therapy, such as insulin dependent diabetes, HIV, and other illnesses.
We will conduct a comprehensive interview to identify your area(s) of disability, how they impact all aspects of your life, and assist you in obtaining all necessary documentation to support your application and assist you in form completion and submission. Please Note, we do not guarantee your application will be accepted, this is at the sole discretion of the Canada Revenue Agency.
